hist.gK.f.chr.past_present_future
Introduce past, present, and future via family photos and 'when ___ was little'
Recognize that PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE name larger time-bands than yesterday/today/tomorrow. Use family photographs to identify 'when this happened' as past, present, or future. Articulate that when a grandparent was little, that was past — even before they themselves were born.

Common misconceptions
- Believing 'past' = 'yesterday' (no recognition of larger time scales)
- Believing nothing happened before the child was born (egocentric chronology)
- Confusing 'old' photo with 'past' (a recent photo of an older person isn't 'past')
