Identify and construct ASYNDETON — omission of conjunctions in a list for compressed power (CCSS L.6.3.a)
Identify asyndeton in mentor texts (Caesar 'I came, I saw, I conquered'; Murakami). Construct asyndetic lists in own writing for urgency/decisiveness. Distinguish from polysyndeton (extra conjunctions for additive effect) and normal listing. Apply sparingly for rhetorical impact.

Common misconceptions
- Believes asyndeton is just 'leaving out a word' — the rule is specifically omitting conjunctions from a list of 3+ items.
- Overuses asyndeton (everywhere) so the rhetorical effect (rarity = emphasis) is lost.
