Given a collection of objects with multiple attributes, sort by ONE attribute chosen by the child or teacher. Count how many in each category. Re-sort by a different attribute. Articulate the sorting rule.

Common misconceptions
- Sorts by multiple attributes at once (puts 'red triangles' in one pile and 'blue squares' in another, leaving red squares unsorted).
- Cannot re-sort the same collection by a different attribute (rigid attribute focus).
- Counts categories instead of objects ('I have 3 piles' when asked 'how many red?').
