Capstone - State Archive Exhibit and Civic-Action Letter dual-strand culminating performance

Capstone: Each child completes a dual-strand performance. STRAND 1 - State Archive Exhibit: a personal 32-page State History Storybook (MG-9) covering all 10 unit threads, with at least one primary-source citation per thread; bound in 3 copies (one for child, one for local library, one for a studied tribal cultural office with permission). STRAND 2 - Civic-Action Letter: a real 5-paragraph letter to the child's state legislator on a chosen issue from MG-13, mailed with caregiver consent. Both strands presented to a class audience including invited caregivers, state legislator's staff (if available), and tribal cultural-office liaison (if available and consented).
