As a class, plan and carry out one welcoming action: pair with a kindergarten newcomer; write welcome cards in 5 languages; create a school-entrance bilingual welcome sign; donate items to a local refugee resettlement organization; or invite a newcomer family to a class event. Teacher coordinates with school and community partners.
