Use transition words at paragraph openings to signal discourse moves
Recognize and produce transition words organized by function: SEQUENCE (first, second, next, then, after that, finally), ADDITION (also, additionally, in addition, furthermore, moreover), CONTRAST (however, in contrast, on the other hand, but, yet, although), CAUSE/CONCLUSION (therefore, as a result, for these reasons, in conclusion, so). Use a transition word at the START of body paragraphs 2, 3, and the conclusion. Apply the comma-after-fronted-transition rule.
